Clarify AI: personalized follow-ups

Clarify AI is a field type that generates a personalized follow-up question in real time based on the respondent's previous answer. It creates conversational, human-like forms that adapt to each individual.

How Clarify AI works

1. 1Add a text field (Short Text or Long Text) to your form where the respondent writes their initial answer.
2. 2Drag a "Clarify AI" element from the Advanced category and place it immediately after that text field.
3. 3In the Properties sidebar, configure the context prompt — tell the AI what kind of follow-up to generate (e.g., "Ask for more detail about their experience" or "Probe into the specific issue they mentioned").
4. 4Publish. When a respondent answers the preceding field, the AI reads their answer and generates a tailored follow-up question.

Example flow

Question: "What frustrated you most about our product?" → Respondent answers: "The export feature is too slow." → Clarify AI generates: "Thanks for sharing. Could you tell us how long the export typically takes and what file format you're using?"

Configuration options

Each Clarify AI question costs 1 AI credit per respondent.
