Import forms from other platforms
Use one-click import to migrate existing forms from Typeform, Jotform, Tally, SurveyMonkey, Wufoo, Formstack, Google Forms, or plain text.
Switching to Spiceform doesn't mean starting from scratch. The Import feature lets you recreate forms from other platforms in seconds.
How to import
- 1On the Dashboard, click the "Import Form" button (or use the ⬇ icon next to "Create"). You can also reach it from the create page, under "or start another way".
- 2Choose your import method: paste a public form URL from Typeform, Jotform, Tally, SurveyMonkey, Wufoo, Formstack, Fillout or Google Forms, or paste raw text with your questions.
- 3Click "Import". Spiceform reads the form's structure and generates matching field types, options, and ordering.
- 4Review the generated form in the builder and make any adjustments.
For text-based import, use numbered lines for best results. The AI understands formats like "1. What is your name?" or "- Email address (required)".
What does and does not come across
Questions, field types, options, required flags and ordering all transfer. Conditional logic does not - branching rules are not read from any platform, so rebuild those on the Logic canvas after importing. Theme, images and file-upload contents do not transfer either.
Typeform, Jotform, Tally, SurveyMonkey, Wufoo and Formstack are read directly and cost no AI credits. Other platforms go through the AI, which uses credits and is less exact - check the result before publishing.
Import is available on all plans, including the free Mild tier.
