Managing contacts in the CRM
View, filter, tag, and export your contacts. Map form fields to contact properties for automatic enrichment.
The Spiceform Contact CRM automatically builds a contact database from your form submissions. Every time someone fills out a form with an email field mapped to the CRM, a contact record is created or updated.
How contact mapping works
- 1In the builder, select any field (e.g., an Email field) and open the Properties sidebar.
- 2Under "CRM Mapping", choose which contact property this field should map to (e.g., "Email", "First Name", "Phone").
- 3Save the form. From now on, every submission will create or update a contact record with the mapped data.
Browsing and filtering contacts
Navigate to the Contacts section from the dashboard sidebar. You'll see a searchable, sortable table of all contacts across your workspace. Use the filter bar to narrow by tags, date range, or specific property values.
Tags and organization
Tags let you categorize contacts for segmentation. You can add tags manually from the contact detail view, or configure automations to tag contacts based on their form responses (e.g., tag "VIP" if NPS score is 9 or 10).
Contact deduplication is automatic — if someone submits multiple forms with the same email, their existing contact record is enriched rather than duplicated.
