Adding images, videos, and media
Upload backgrounds, question images, and video elements through the Media Gallery.
Rich media makes your forms more engaging. Spiceform supports images, videos, and background media throughout your form — from the Welcome screen to individual questions.
The Media Gallery
Click the image icon on any element or the Design tab's background section to open the Media Gallery. From here you can upload new files or select from previously uploaded media.
Supported media types
- •Images — JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF. Displayed as question images, backgrounds, or Picture Choice options.
- •Videos — MP4, WebM. Use the Video field type to collect video responses, or embed explainer videos in question descriptions.
- •Background images — applied globally via the Design tab. Supports overlay opacity for readability.
Upload limits
File sizes are capped based on your plan's storage quota: 100 MB on Mild, 2 GB on Hot, 10 GB on Fire, and 50 GB on Inferno. Individual files can be up to 50 MB each.
Pro tip
Compress images before uploading for faster form load times. Tools like TinyPNG or Squoosh work great.
