Multi-language forms and translations
Translate your form into multiple languages using AI-powered or manual translations.
Spiceform supports multi-language forms out of the box on every plan. You can translate all user-facing text — questions, descriptions, options, buttons, Welcome and Ending screens — into any number of languages.
Adding a language
- 1Open the Translations modal from the builder toolbar (the globe icon).
- 2Click "Add Language" and select the target language from the dropdown.
- 3Use the "Auto-translate with AI" button to generate translations instantly, or type them manually field-by-field.
- 4Click "Save". The translation is saved and immediately available when respondents open the form.
How respondents choose a language
When a form has multiple languages configured, a language switcher appears in the top-right corner of the form runner. Respondents can switch languages at any point without losing their progress.
Setting the default language
The default language is the one you build the form in (usually English). You can change the main language from Form Settings. All other languages are treated as translations of this primary language.
AI translations handle nuance well, but we recommend reviewing translated text for industry-specific terminology or legal wording.
