Use your apps as steps in an automation
Put HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Notion, Airtable, Trello, Slack, or Google Sheets anywhere in a flow.
Every app Spiceform connects to natively is also a step you can drop on an automation canvas: HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Notion, Airtable, Trello, Slack and Google Sheets. Placing one in a flow means it happens where you put it — after a branch, after a wait, after somebody approved it.
Adding one
- 1Add the step for the app you want.
- 2Pick which connected account it should use. If you have none, connect one first from the form's Connect tab or your integrations settings.
- 3Choose where it goes — the HubSpot object, the Airtable table, the Notion database, the Slack channels.
- 4Map the answers to the fields on the other side.
A step that is missing an account or a destination is flagged on the canvas and stops you publishing, so you find out now rather than on the first real response.
When the other app has a bad day
Any step that creates something somewhere else can have a failure path: connect it and decide what happens when the other service is down or rejects the record. Email yourself, ask someone to look, or carry on regardless. The builder warns you when a step like this has no failure path, because the default is a run that stops and waits for you to notice.
Steps that create records elsewhere are protected against being run twice by an accidental retry, so a hiccup does not leave you with duplicate contacts.
Seeing what happened
Open the Runs tab and click a run: each app step shows what was sent, what came back, and how long it took. When something did not land in the other app, that is where the answer is.
