Slack notifications for new submissions
Get real-time alerts in any Slack channel whenever someone completes your form.
Stay in the loop without leaving Slack. Spiceform can post a formatted notification to any Slack channel every time someone submits a form — including a summary of their answers.
Setting up Slack notifications
- 1In Slack, create an Incoming Webhook for the desired channel (go to Slack App Directory → Incoming Webhooks → Add to Slack).
- 2Copy the webhook URL that Slack generates.
- 3In Spiceform, open the form in the builder and navigate to the Connect tab.
- 4Paste the Slack webhook URL into the "Slack Webhook" field and click "Save".
- 5Submit a test response to verify the notification arrives in your Slack channel.
Notification format
Each Slack notification includes the form name, submission timestamp, and a summary of all answers. Long-text answers are truncated to keep the message compact. You can click through to the full submission in Spiceform.
Pro tip
Create a dedicated #form-submissions channel in Slack to keep notifications organized and searchable.
